Uncle Blaine

Found out while setting up for the Powell Christmas Party that my Uncle Blaine had passed away.  We are sure going to miss him, but we know he isn’t suffering anymore and that he is reunited with family and friends.  We know he suffered and didn’t complain.  He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and survived it longer than doctors thought he would.  Love you Uncle Blaine.

Powell Christmas Party

This past weekend we had a Powell Family Christmas Party.  Usually it is held on Christmas, this year we (some not happy about it) decided to do it earlier than Christmas day so that people from out of state could make it.  Shelly, Myrna, and I were in charge of it.  It seemed to be enjoyed by the siblings that decided it was important to come and see family and support mom on her first christmas without dad.  Thanks to everyone that came and made it enjoyable.

Four Christmases

Went to see Four Christmases last night with my sister-in-law and her 3 kids.  It was a great show.  Thanks for inviting me you guys.  Love ya.

This last weekend I got to go see Twilight with my friend Julie that I haven’t seen in a long time.  It was a blast.  Now I need to re-read the book again.

Then we went to Red Robin and talked and got caught up.  Thanks a lot for the fun day Julie.
