Relaxing
Friday we took David’s mom down to meet his sister to bring her back to Orem so she could go to a birthday party on Saturday morning. Then we spent the day swimming, swimming, and more swimming. After dinner, we did do a little bit of shopping again. We all got sunburned and are now paying the price of the hot day out at the pool. Out the back door of our condo, we had a little play area that the kids could go out and play in while we were in the condo. It sure was fun to spend time with the family and the cousins sure enjoyed playing together. We are already talking about next year and what fun it will be. We are hoping that my sister and her family will be able to join us next year from Northern California. It would be wonderful to have all of us together for a few days enjoying each others company.
Shopping, shopping, and beauty!
We spent Thursday down at the outlet stores in St. George. I was walking up from the car to go into a store and saw my friend, Kris, who lives in Lindon getting her boys in the car. I have hardly seen her since they moved up to Lindon from St. George. She happens to be down there getting their house ready to sell. It was wonderful to see her and catch up for a few minutes. We spent a few hours looking at the stores and then went back to the condo and had lunch and did some swimming. After the swimming, we had dinner, and then we went down to the St. George Temple. It was a gorgeous evening and the kids loved the beauty. We decided since they were so good and let us get some pictures that we would go to Nilsen’s for custard afterwards. We are sitting there eating and talking, and our next door neighbor, Krissy Miller, comes over and says hi. What a wonderful day to see so many friends down there and see all the beauty.

“So Long, Farewell”
We made the trip to St. George on Wednesday on saw THE SOUND OF MUSIC at Tuacahn. The kids love our yearly outings to Tuacahn with my parents and my brother and his family. This we decided to rent a condo and all of us stay in the condo together instead of getting hotel rooms. It cost us less so we got to spend an extra day. We took David’s mother down with us and she stayed till Friday morning and then came home with his sister that was coming up to Orem for a wedding from Las Vegas. It was an amazing performance. I was shocked the kids sat through it and loved the show.
BROTHER BERRETT!
Dylan has been bugging Brother Berrett to take him on his MOTOCYCLE. While at church on Sunday he kept calling loudly for Brother Berrett. When he learned to ride his bike, he rode his bike over and ended up getting a ride on Brother Berrett’s motocycle! David ended up walking him with Dylan’s bike in his hands, it’s a good thing it is small and easy to carry. Thank you so much Brent for taking the kids for a ride. We really enjoy you as a friend and neighbor.

We are in trouble
Dylan has never been interested in riding a two-wheel bike. On Sunday, we are sitting out talking with my parents and Dylan decides he wants to ride his bike. I think that since his friend Koda rides his bike he thinks he should too. Well, he took off and now there is no stopping him. He rode it all over. It is hard to keep tabs on him now. It scares me. When he sets his mind to something, he does it till he figures it out. He is growing up so fast.
